FAQ

Question: Will the battery level indicator show up no matter the batteries that are in use?
Answer: The battery level indicator will only show up when you use 18650 rechargeable Li-ion batteries. This means that if you switch or change the batteries and instead use 2x CR123A batteries, then the battery level indicator won’t show up. This is a bit inconvenient if you’re in the wild and want to know what battery percentage is remaining.

Question: Does this flashlight get hot when left on turbo mode for long?
Answer: Yes, it does. Actually, this is one of the shortcomings of this flashlight. When left on turbo mode for over a long time, the flashlight will get hot, and you will have to adjust the brightness level in order to cool it down. Also, the overheat protection function will enable the flashlight to adjust from a higher mode to a lower one automatically. Still, have a question after reading this Fenix PD35 V2.0 Review? 1. I bought several PD35s and all worked fine. having sat on my dresser the next time I tried it it didn’t work. batteries were fine and I even replaced them to be sure it wasn’t the batteries. Not sure if its the end switch or the intensity switch but one or both gave out. My concern is if one switch gave out will all other flashlight switches suffer the same fate. Years ago bought 6 6-volt flashlights and once turned on the switches broke due to wrong temper on the switch steel.
